Saanich arts centre offers free workshop for artists entering business
Being an artist and a businessperson don’t always come as a package.
Luckily, the Arts Centre at Cedar Hill Recreation Centre, 3220 Cedar Hill Rd., is hosting a free workshop this weekend to help imbue artists with more of a business sense.
From 1 to 4 p.m., Feb. 12, learn the basics of how to acquire a professional look and choose the right art work to exhibit. The Business of Art with Nancy Dolan will also offer advice on pricing work, self-promotion and effective publicity.
