Swan Lake goes batty for bats

Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary dives into the world of bats on Sunday.

People can learn how to set up a bat house, how to spot the small but quick creatures and how bats eat up mosquitoes by the hundreds.

The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. on June 24. See www.swanlake.bc.ca.
