Contestants squared off in the 13th annual Chili Cook-off Saturday and there was plenty of heat.
A total of eight teams competed to have their chili named the best by judges and by the people.
Accent Refrigeration took home the coveted people’s choice award while Bucky’s Taphouse was the runner up with 328 Taphouse finishing third.
But when it came down to the judges, Axe &Barrel came out on top with the best chili while 328 Taphouse took second place and Accent Refrigeration rounded out the top three.
Judges also handed out awards in showmanship with Axe &Barrel coming out on top again, followed by Buckly’s Taphouse in second and a tie for third place between 328 Taphouse and the View Royal Casino.
