The Horticulture Centre of the Pacific officially opened the Couvelier Pavilion on Wednesday.
The pavilion, a community space intended to host workshops and other pubic events, is dedicated to the memory of Mel Couvelier, the former Saanich mayor who spearheaded establishment of the centre and was a longtime supporter.
