Royal Bay residents recently celebrated their community Easter Egg Hunt among the lush parkland and walking trails of Meadow Park. Families enjoyed music, cookie decorating, an educational exhibit from Royal B.C. Museum, an egg hunt and more.

The annual event kicked off what’s sure to be another busy spring and summer season filled with community activities.

“This year’s Easter Egg Hunt saw hundreds of families coming together to celebrate as a community,” says Cortney Paone, Gablecraft Marketing Manager. “The recent success of this much-anticipated event is just one example of the many events and activities residents enjoy regularly here in Royal Bay.”

Royal Bay itself was intentionally designed to foster the West Coast spirit and encourage residents to get outdoors – which is easy thanks to its close proximity to parks, beaches and ample green spaces, as well as its well-maintained pathways.

“Royal Bay was designed with walkability in mind and offers residents the opportunity to leave their vehicles behind, thanks to easy access to The Commons, a retail village and numerous local parks, trails, and beaches,” Paone says.

Residents have seen the grand opening of many new businesses and services at The Commons over the past year including Quality Foods, Cascadia Liquor, Pure Integrative Pharmacy, Next Level Childcare, Royal Bay Dental, Starbucks, Noodlebox and other popular eateries and services.

Families with older students enjoy the perks of having Royal Bay Secondary School within easy walking distance, and land has been purchased for a future elementary school.

“For West Coasters looking to set down roots and find a home that will not only foster their unique coastal lifestyle but also continue to grow and change with them, Royal Bay has everything to offer and then some,” Paone says.
