Royal B.C. Museum boss set to retire
The chief executive officer of the Royal B.C. Museum is calling it quits.
Pauline Rafferty will retire later this year once a successor has been selected.
Rafferty, who has led the organization for 10 years, will remain as CEO during the recruitment process to ensure continuity and participate in the national search for her replacement.
“Pauline has been an extraordinarily effective and transformative executive for the Royal B.C. Museum,” said John Williams, chair of the museum board.
“After 35 years of public service, we understand and support her as she plans what we hope will be a long and fulfilling retirement.”
Rafferty joined the museum in 1992 and has been CEO since 2001.
