The Saanich police ares asking for the public's assistance in locating a 15-year-old Saanich teen.

Investigators feel Rebeccah Ankersen may be in the company of Ryan Racette, a 30-year-old man wanted on a B.C. wide warrant for breaching a no contact order with the missing youth.

Ankersen is caucasian, 5’4,” and 170 pounds with short brown hair and a piercing in the bridge of her nose, as well as pierced ears. She was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with an Orange County Chopper emblem and mid-calf combat-style Garrison boots with white laces. She was carrying a black backpack at the time.

Racette is 6'0" tall and 160 lbs with brown hair (possibly dyed green). He also has a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

Investigators believe Ankersen was in the Nanaimo area on Dec. 23 at 11:40 a.m.

Anyone with information on Ankersen’s or Racette’s whereabouts should contact the Saanich police at 250-475-4321 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
