The 2017 Vital Signs survey is the 12th iteration of the Victoria Foundation initiative in which every aspect of life in the region is explored and the public is invited to provide their perspective on the social issues of our times.

The public is being asked to weigh in now on the online survey on topics ranging from serious to light.

“The results of the survey are integral to our decision making, of course, but they also help guide other charities, agencies and municipal governments in their decision making,” said Rob Janus, project manager for Vital Signs.

He added that the survey results also help Greater Victorians better understand their own community and the issues facing it. “It’s a check-up that shows what we’re doing well, and where we need to be doing more work.”

Janus invites the public to visit nrgsurveys.ca/SE/53/3832_2017/ to make their voices heard.

Since 1936, the foundation has managed charitable gifts to create permanent, income-earning funds that support hundreds of charities each year. In fact, the foundation consistently awards about $1 million a month to charities and grants. More information on the work of the organization can be found at victoriafoundation.bc.ca.
