In Loving Memory ~
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Colin on November 25, 2023, at the age of 71.
Colin was predeceased by his parents and his brother Myron.
He leaves behind his partner Vicki of 37 years, stepsons John and Dustin (Benjaporn), granddaughters, Bella and Ava, cousins Larry and Margaret, "adopted" sister/friend Harmesh, close friends Leslie and Lorna.
Colin was born in Nova Scotia and raised in Burnaby. In his early 20s, he ventured to Victoria. Colin spent all his spare time working on his home. He and Vicki loved gardening and spent endless hours tending to their garden.
Colin loved his sports. He played baseball for many years in the Victoria area. Health challenges forced him to give up the sport he loved.
Colin had a lengthy career in real estate and once he hung that hat up, he started working for Fedex. It was the perfect job for him, and he loved the people he worked with. Colin was a hardworking man, loyal, reliable, dependable and always went above and beyond for anyone, unconditionally.
Sincere thanks are extended to the Saanich Fire Department, Paramedics, Doctors and Nurses in the ER, Surgeon Dr. Hayashi, ICU Doctors Jaswal and McDonald and ICU Nurse Brienna at Victoria General Hospital for their care and kindness.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
