I would like add my voice of support for the excellent analysis found in Tom Fletcher’s columns.
Those who disagree and use the stock term ‘right wing’, thereby dismissing any truth or relevance to his views, are sadly becoming a loud and strident establishment voice in our culture. The insight Tom brings is invaluable in my eyes, and his column is the one reason I eagerly grab the News every Wednesday.
Yes, I do agree with most of his personal political views, but I’m also pleasantly surprised at the amount of new insight he brings to so many issues. There is always room for disagreement in how to approach problems, but if we don’t see the whole picture, we are so much poorer.
What Tom represents is one side of the current culture war, and it’s a major war, make no mistake. The ideological battles he wages are truly historic and important. I recommend watching a few Dr. Jordan Peterson videos if you really want to jump down the rabbit hole.
