Thank you for printing two thoughtful, intelligent and compassionate letters in your Oct. 10 issue. Like Bev Joy and Ardeo Mann I am appalled by the attitudes that virtually criminalize poverty and victimize homeless citizens. This is a systemic issue that can’t be blamed on individuals.
We can and should be acting to put an end to this deplorable state of affairs. Please keep reporting the facts and reflecting on potential solutions.
