Cue the drum roll, the results are in!
The West Shore’s most prominent business awards are back and residents have spoken. After voting opened in early July, more than 24,000 votes were cast in the 2021 Best of the WestShore Awards.
With more than 40 categories, there was no shortage of great local businesses to which residents could give kudos. Included in the mix were everything from best pub, restaurant, grocery store and second-hand shop to favourite sports team or best place to take your furry family members for a walk.
You can find the results inside a special publication in this week’s Goldstream Gazette, or online at goldstreamgazette.com.
But if you can’t wait that long, you can find them online with a special two-part video release starting Monday (Oct. 25) at 6:30 p.m. from the WestShore Chamber of Commerce.
The awards are brought to the community through a partnership between the Goldstream Gazette and the WestShore Chamber of Commerce. But unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we weren’t able to host an awards reception. You can, however, check out our Facebook page as we will be releasing videos from some great West Shore businesses.
The results are always a highlight of the year. It’s a chance to rediscover old favourites and become new regulars at others.
