The tastiest staycation returns to Greater Victoria in early 2022 with Dine Around and Stay in Town.
The chair of the Victoria chapter of the BC Restaurant and Food Services Association calls it an amazing way to support and promote the community’s food scene.
“This festival has become the premier culinary program in Greater Victoria. It highlights our talented chefs and restaurateurs, as well as attracting countless customers to their favourite restaurants,” Peter de Bruyn said.
The ever-growing list features 10 hotels and more than 40 restaurants in Greater Victoria. The eateries offer menus at $20, $30, $40, $50 or $60 price points, with hotels posting room rates at $129, $149, $169, $189, and $249.
The CEO of Destination Greater Victoria calls the local culinary scene world-class.
“Greater Victoria’s restaurants create outstanding options from a variety of traditions. There is not only a high quality to our food and drink offerings, but Victoria has more restaurants per capita than any other city in Canada. The choice is tremendous for locals as well as those visiting our community,” Paul Nursey said.
Participating hotels and restaurants are committed to following public health orders, and guests may be asked to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. Public health also requires people older than 12 to wear a mask when entering a restaurant and when not seated at a table.
Dine Around and Stay in Town Victoria runs Jan. 20 to Feb. 6, 2022. Find a list of participating restaurants online at tourismvictoria.com.
