University of Victoria alumna Tamara Vrooman, now president and CEO of Vancouver City Savings Credit Union, will give a talk on Sept. 18 about redefining wealth and what wealth means within a co-operative financial services model.
Vrooman became the leader of VanCity in 2007 after a public sector career culminating in a three-year post as a provincial deputy minister of finance.
The talk is Tuesday, Sept. 18, 4 to 5 p.m. in the Bob Wright Centre, room A104. Admission is free and all are welcome.
UVic’s Centre for Co-operative and Community-Based Economy hosts the event.
