Saanich’s Music in the Park gets folksy tonight with Celtic music, jigs, reels and polkas, and a party atmosphere.

Music from Cookeilidh runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 14, at Rutledge Park at the corner of Inverness and Cloverdale.

Bring a lawn chair or blankets. Donations are accepted to offset costs. Hamburgers, hot dogs, pop, chips and ice cream for sale.

The next Music in the Park at Rutledge Park is the band Shaky Ground, Aug. 21, 6 to 8 p.m.
