Noted evolutionary Christianity author to speak at Saanich conference

Bruce Sanguin part of a weekend conference at St. Aidan's United

Vancouver-based author and theologian Bruce Sanguin is the keynote speaker at a weekend conference in Saanich that is looking at new ways of envisioning Christian spirituality.

Sanguin, who has written books on evolutionary Christianity, including Darwin, Divinity and the Dance of the Cosmos, is part of a conference taking place this Friday through Sunday at St. Aidan’s United Church. The theme of the everyone-welcome event is Explode your Faith and it includes workshops, lectures and music.

Individual sessions are $10 each or $30 for all four.

Sunday’s free session featuring Sanguin is at 10 a.m. and is held in conjunction with the regular church service. More details and registration information are available at staidansunited.com, emailing michael@staidansunited.com or calling 250-477-2089.
