PHOTOS: Seedy Saturday thrives in Saanich

The sunshine and mild weather welcomes droves of green thumbs to Saanich Seedy Saturday.

This year’s event showcases an abundance of local certified organic seeds along with tasty produce, children’s activities, and a variety of vendors.

Guest Speaker Dr. Trevor Hancock, Hon FFPH speaks on the topic of “Feeding a One Planet Region” which looks at how the District of Saanich is involved with One Planet Living initiatives.
