Hundreds turned out wearing purple at the University of Victoria on Sunday in the Peoples Drug Mart Walk for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
This year’s event raised more than $47,000 to find a cure for ALS – also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease – a degenerative neurological condition.
