Weekend plant sale at Swan Lake

Hundreds of species and more than 6,000 plants are up for grabs at Swan Lake’s annual spring native plant sale.

The sale runs Saturday and Sunday at the Nature House at 841 Ralph St. in Saanich.

Parent and toddler basics at library

The Bruce Hutchison branch of the Greater Victoria Public Library hosts Parenting: Baby and Toddler basics on Thursday, April 18, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 4636 Elk Lake Dr.

Parents and babies are invited to a visit from a Peninsula Health Unit nurse. The nurse will answer questions, and discuss topics such as immunization, growth and successful nursing.
