Saanich Youth Council is launching its first In Colour Photo Contest to showcase youth photography and celebrate diversity in their community.
“Young people are really talented and have a unique perspective on issues such as multiculturalism. Youth ... are really honest about how they feel,” said Ninu Forrest, member at large of the Saanich Youth Council.
To submit a photo, the participant must be between the ages of 13 and 25 and the photo needs to be accompanied by a description of how it meets the themes of multiculturalism and diversity.
