Shred-a-thon benefits Mount St. Mary foundation

Public invited to bring down confidential documents to be shredded

The non-profit Mount St. Mary Foundation is hosting a shred-a-thon on Saturday (May 26), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mount St. Mary Hospital, 861 Fairfield Rd.

Individuals and businesses are invited to bring confidential documents to be shredded, in return for a donation to the foundation. All proceeds go towards much-needed equipment for hospital residents.

Suggested minimum donation is $10 for a tote-box sized container, and tax receipts will be given for contributions of $25 or more. While the shredding is being done, participants are invited to enjoy a barbecue lunch and a beverage.
