UVic students getting into Halloween act

Gordon Head, Cadboro Bay and Oak Bay residents are urged to set aside non-perishable goods just in case older kids come knocking.

That tall costumed person standing at your door on Halloween with an open pillowcase may not be looking to collect free candy.

Instead, students from the University of Victoria will be participating in Trick or Eat, a food drive to benefit the Mustard Seed food bank.

Gordon Head, Cadboro Bay and Oak Bay residents are urged to set aside non-perishable goods just in case older kids come knocking.
