Social services, self-advocates, families, workers, service providers and the public will get together this weekend for an awareness-raising walk.
The third annual Walk for Community Social Services aims to communicate the importance of these services.
The walk is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday (March 26), starting at Centennial Square, with a barbecue at noon to end the walk. The Tom Morrissey Band will provide entertainment. Participants are asked to pre-register by calling 250-978-5475 or at bwilson@heu.org.
