Walking for childhood leukemia

Eight-year-old Jack Westhaver and his brother, six-year-old Jake play street hockey together at Tillicum Centre before the start of the 3rd annual KidsRun Victoria last Sunday.

The walk that started three years ago was started for Jack who was diagnosed with leukemia. The run is a fundraiser to support the local pediatric oncology ward at Victoria General Hospital and to raise awareness of the childhood disease.
