A giant yard sale on June 18 raised $7,142 for Jeneece Place, which provides a home for out-of-town families with children undergoing medical care in Victoria.
All proceeds from the event went to the Queen Alexandra Foundation project, which hopes to open the home within walking distance of Victoria General Hospital this year.
The sale was held in Broadmead Village at Heirloom Linens and featured thousands of items.
