Ballet BC is bringing performances to Victoria from three choreographers whose works have appeared around the world.

On March 11 and 12 at the Royal Theatre, Reveal and Tell will see three mixed contemporary works brought to the stage, including the world premiere of a new work by Ballet BC artistic director Medhi Walerski, featuring an original score by Belgian composer Adrien Cronet. Walerski’s work often looks at themes of human connection and the relationship between the individual and the collective, stated a release from Ballet BC.

Also on the program are Woke Up Blind, by German choreographer Marco Goecke, with music by Jeff Buckley and Van Morrison; and The Statement, by Ballet BC alumna Crystal Pite, who has worked with the Paris Opera Ballet, the Royal Ballet and National Ballet of Canada and has become one of the world’s sought-after choreographers.

Shows both nights start at 7:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at dancevictoria.com.
