BandFest 2018 wraps up Friday at UVic

Bandfest 2018 wraps up Friday at the University of Victoria’s Farquhar Auditorium. The three-day event is a non-competitive music festival that provides an opportunity for students to play for experienced adjudicators and learn from informative feedback.

The Grade 7 band from Arbutus Global Middle School opened Friday’s final day of performances. A number of bands from Oak Bay High will be performing throughout the morning, with Landsdowne middle school’s Grade 8s scheduled to take the stage just before 2 p.m. and the Tillicum middle school wind ensemble slated for 3:35 p.m.
