Saanich 9-year-old turning lemons into help for Victoria hospitals

Lemonade stand will be at 4303 Shelbourne Street from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, August 12.

For the second year, nine-year-old Anders Yee is hosting a lemonade stand will all proceeds going towards the Victoria Hospitals Foundation.

This year, Anders will be selling ice cream and freezies in an effort to raise money for Royal Jubilee Hospital and Victoria General Hospital. Last August, he managed to raise over $1,000 for the foundation.

"Anders is a huge supporter of our hospitals. In 2022, he lost his father who spent time at RJH following an aneurysm and Anders himself spent time in the VGH NICU," noted a news release.

He will be at 4303 Shelbourne Street from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, August 12.
