Saanich-Gulf Islands Conservatives meeting Tuesday

Town hall-style meeting on party policy suggestions

Local Conservatives are hosting a town hall meeting in Sidney this week.

In a media release, the Saanich-Gulf Islands Conservatives say they are going to be talking about local issues and take feedback on policy direction to the federal Conservative Party of Canada. They plan to take information to the party’s policy convention this summer in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Spokesperson Ryan Trelford noted in the release that “discussion and sharing of views is encourgaed.”

The town hall meeting is Tues., April 10 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Mary Winspear Centre, Room 2, in Sidney.
