Saanich Police Department would like to speak with an individual captured on camera, in relation to a Tesla vandalized March 5.

Saanich police are looking for yet another suspected Tesla vandal after someone was captured on camera in Gordon Head.

Someone keyed a black Tesla in the 1600 block of Alderwood Street on March 5, according to Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers.

The month-old plea for information comes after Victoria police called on the community to identify a suspect in the keying of a Tesla Cybertruck parked in the 800-block of Humboldt Street on March 31.

At that time, Victoria Police Department said there had been no notable increase in mischief incidents targeting Tesla vehicles compared to previous years, though it was the second Tesla-related file this year. The first was in February when "obscenities" were written in the dust on the side of a truck.

Both incidents were captured by on-board cameras the vehicle brand is known for. A suspect was arrested in the Victoria incident.

While not identifying them as a suspect, Saanich police said officers would like to speak with the person captured on camera.

Anyone with information is asked to call police, or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or victoriacrimestoppers.ca.
