The District of Saanich is inviting residents to participate in shaping the Tillicum Burnside plan, which will guide land use, transportation, and community development for the area over the next 20 years.

The District of Saanich is inviting residents to participate in shaping the Tillicum Burnside centre, corridor and village plan, which will guide land use, transportation, and community development over the next 20 years.

The plan aims to create a livable, vibrant, and transit-connected community by detailing land use changes within Saanich’s official community plan framework.

Public engagement opportunities include walking tours, pop-up events, and community workshops scheduled throughout May and June. These sessions are designed to gather diverse perspectives and inform the draft plan.

A second phase of public consultation is planned for fall 2025, with the draft plan expected in early 2026.
