Earth Day celebrations feature a variety of presentations around Victoria

James Tyrwhitt-Drake holds a high-resolution photo of Earth

James Tyrwhitt-Drake is quite fond of Earth, so much so that he has loaded a series of photos and video clips of our planet to his website, planet–earth.ca.

Earth Day activities across the city Sunday included the Earth Walk that wound up at Centennial Square, the Creatively United for the Planet festival at St. Matthias Church and other smaller events.

Check out your Wednesday print edition of the News to find more photos of the events.
