With the holidays coming, Nigel House is housing a Holiday Shred-A-Thon on Nov. 25 to raise money and offer people a chance to create some room in their house by ridding themselves of old documents.

It’s perfect chance to safely dispose of outdated but sensitive documents such as bank statements, tax returns and those mystery documents that have collected over the years and contain potentially compromising information.

The Saturday Shred-A-Thon runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nigel House, 846 Nigel Ave. across from Saanich Plaza.

There is a suggested donation of $10 per box, and a plea for one to two boxes per household.

For more information call Shannon at Broadmead Care, 250-658-3274.
