Two hundred Camosun College students will benefit from $700,000 in Employment Skills Access funding announced by the province last week.
Employment Skills Access helps under-employed and unemployed people access post-secondary training to improve job-specific skills.
"This funding announcement means we can continue working with unemployed individuals to help them build skills toward meaningful employment,” said Wendy Magahay, co-ordinator of contract training at Camosun, calling the learning "life-changing."
