UPDATE: Victoria intersection reopens after serious crash

Police seek witnesses after driver sent to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries

One driver is in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after a morning crash in Victoria.

The Cook and Finlayson streets intersection reopened after 11 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 17).

Shortly before 7 a.m., emergency crews responded to the intersection for a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.

The male driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed for approximately four hours while police investigated the crash. The Victoria Police Department is looking for witnesses and video from the area at approximately 6:45 a.m.
