Saanich Police nabbed a hit and run driver after he slammed into the back of a car at a stop sign and fled on foot early Thursday morning.
Around 12:20 a.m., a driver was hit from behind at the intersection of Torquay Drive and San Pedro Avenue. The victim was taken to hospital with facial lacerations, while police hunted the suspect.
A 19-year-old Saanich man was eventually arrested in the area and faces several driving-related charges.
