Lambrick student earns perfect score in math contest

Grade 11 student Bart Won Bin Suh of Lambrick Park secondary school scored  150 out of a possible 150 on the University of Waterloo's Fermat test held Feb 24.

For his perfect score, Won Bin Suh wins $200. The cash, however, is minimal compared to the recognition earned for the academic feat.

Lambrick senior physics and mathematics instructor Mike Star, who’s the math team coach, said it shows Won Bin Suh’s amazing critical thinking skills and analytical ability.

Won BIn Suh hopes to study mathematics and computer engineering, possibly at Waterloo.

The Fermat test is open to Canadian as well as international Grade 11 students.
