The Friends of Uplands Park are hosting a public meeting to examine the shifting human and natural landscape in the Capital Region.
In “The Changing Landscape, Mega Fauna and Humans – the last 22,000 Years,” Grant Keddie, archaeology curator at the Royal B.C. Museum uses maps, photographs and other visuals to illustrate changes in the area from the Ice Age to the establishment of Fort Victoria.
The free gathering takes place Thurs., March 8 at 7 p.m. at Windsor Park Pavilion. Refreshments will be provided, and donations are welcome.
