A motorcyclist who crashed in Saanich early morning Sunday is in an induced coma at Victoria General Hospital.
Saanich Police were called out to the area of Glanford Avenue and Leaside Avenue at about 2 a.m. Sunday. The single rider of the motorcycle sustained serious head injuries.
The male in his early 30s is listed in critical condition.
Police report preliminary investigation suggests the rider was operating the motorcycle under the influence of both drugs and alcohol.
