Police issue warning about thefts from vehicles

Continued nonchalance by Oak Bay residents results in more thefts

Oak Bay police responded to several thefts from vehicles throughout the municipality last week.

Investigators are urging people not to leave items in their vehicles, as well as to lock their parked vehicles.

Many thefts are happening because vehicles are left unlocked or thieves target vehicles in which valuables are left in plain view.
