Victoria residents had a lot to say about the letter sent by the 13 mayors in the Capital Regional District to Premier John Horgan and Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Claire Trevena urging immediate action to get the train running again between Langford and Victoria.

Many people spoke up in support of the trains running again; others wanted to know how the passengers would get to downtown Victoria now that the tracks no longer go over Johnson Street Bridge.

One questioned the mayors pushing the E&N rail when the Victoria Transit Commission made completing the bus lanes their top priority.

In the letter, the mayors did ask for the February budget to include the completion of bus rapid transit lanes to the West Shore.

Another topic brought up was whether approval for the project had been received from local First Nations.

Other people preferred to use GIFs to share their feelings about the train service.
