Roads remain icy, flurries in the forecast for some of Greater Victoria

Roads remain icy as snow remnants continue to melt and temps hover near freezing across Greater Victoria.

Today promises to be sunny according to Weather Canada with cloud coming in the afternoon and a high of 6 C.

Rain or snow (higher elevations) is expected after midnight with a low of 1 C.

Rain is on the agenda for Friday morning, ending around noon with more sun and cloud and a 30 per cent chance of showers. Again, higher terrain may see periods of wet snow with a predicted 2 cm.

A low of 1 C overnight Friday means a chance of rain or flurries overnight heading into the weekend.
