Saanich seeking residents for advisory committees

One-year appointments to a number of advisory committees are up for grabs

Saanich is looking for a few good men and women to help shape the municipality.

One-year appointments to a number of advisory committees are up for grabs, allowing residents to deal with a wide range of municipal issues.

Residents interested in sitting on such committees as Healthy Saanich, the arts, culture and heritage committee, and the parks, trails and recreation committee are asked to call municipal hall at 250-475-1775 or visit saanich.ca for information. A complete list of committees can also be found online.

The deadline to apply is 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 19.
