A culture of government

Brexit, Donald Trump and anti-status-quo parties are in opposition to increasingly invasive government regulations

Perplexing perspective in your Nov. 18 editorial. Brexit, Donald Trump and anti-status-quo parties in various parts of the world are in opposition to increasingly invasive government rules/regulations/programs and the deficit spending that is in lock step.  Yet the editorial is suggesting we need even more government to oversee our attitudes, opinions and behaviour patterns. That “culture” is not what we acknowledge each Nov. 11.
