Response April 3rd  Coun. Vicki Sanders: Councillor clarifies feedlot status

Thank you, Coun. Vicki Sanders, from reminding those following this saga  that Council approved in 2012 a motion to send an application to exclude from the ALR, 1516 Mount Douglas Cross Road and the Alberg family (owners of the property) requested that application not proceed.  The approval of that motion is still outstanding.

The owners hold the power to begin the process of removing 1516 Mount Douglas Cross Road land from the ALR, and if they truly wish to subdivide the property and be good neighbours, they should get on with it.  Even with the current zoning,  there is tons of money to be made creating residential lots and building beautiful homes.
