Peninsula Streams is proud of our environmental education programs and appreciate the recognition. However for the second time in an article, your paper has credited Saanich Parks and Recreation with supporting the Mahon Brook restoration work on the school grounds. In fact, it has been the recently formed Storm and Waste Water team in Saanich lead by Ben Bowker that has helped spearhead with the project. We also collaborate extensively with Saanich Parks who are very helpful as well. Kudos to District of Saanich in general for their support of Peninsula Streams, environmental education and stream restoration.
