More buses needed

The McKenzie interchange has far more serious problems than sediment flowing into Colquitz River

The McKenzie interchange has far more serious problems than sediment. The first is that you can’t build your way out of congestion -- adding road capacity just makes traffic, and climate pollution, worse.

The B.C. Liberals promised bus lanes all the way to Colwood “soon” in 2008. But as soon as they won the election in 2009, the promise was forgotten. Greater Victoria needs 24/7 bus lanes and more buses, not another freeway boondoggle.
