Re: Malahat crash on Sunday claims three (News, Oct. 17)
Premier Christy Clark says it cost $8 million to put concrete barriers on 5.5 kilometres of the Malahat.
That means it would cost about $22 million more to complete the job for the remaining 15 kilometres.
Recently though, the B.C. government has launched ads claiming that it has added $1 trillion to the B.C. economy. The $22 million represents an infinitesimal percentage. What could be the holdup if money is not the problem?
