Reynolds top St. Mikes in battle of B.C. champs

Reynolds Roadrunners defeat Saint Michaels University School Blue Jags 4-2 in Colonist Cup city final

The Reynolds Roadrunners took its first Colonist Cup since 1983 by defeating the Saint Michaels University School Blue Jags 4-2 on Tuesday at UVic.

Kiyoshi Croke scored twice to lead the Roadrunners to the title.

It was a showdown between Reynolds, the reigning AAA provincial camps, and AA Saint Michaels, the reigning AA champs, for ultimate soccer supremacy.

Reynolds ends a legendary season as the city, Island and provincial champions.
