Saanich Fusion enter VISL playoff semifinals

Saanich Fusion U21 boys to face Gorge FC in the George Smith U21 final on April 3.

The Fusion prevailed 3-2 on two goals by Phil Timmer and one from Hunter Watson. Gavin Maxwell and Jack Longo replied for the Bays.

The Fusion will face Gorge FC in the George Smith U21 final on April 3.

At the VISL men’s top level, Div. 1, the Fusion host Cowichan on Saturday, 7 p.m. at Tyndall Turf for a spot in the Jackson Cup final. Westcastle United faces Bays United today in the other Div. 1 semifinal, 8:30 pm at UVic #3 Turf.

The Jackson Cup final is Sunday, April 3, 2:30 pm. at Royal Athletic Park.
